Rescued this US NJ 6 button today. Did not find anything similar online. Any ideas what is it and what time frame??

All I can find is this. I would guess New Jersey National Guard 6th Infantry pin from WW1 but I am guessing.

The background pattern appears to designate your collar disc as a Type II, which were from 1926-37 : Dating Metallic Insignia: Collar Disks
