military button ID SOLVED

I found this button at an old farm house in my home town built in the late 1800's. nearby was a 1896 barber quarter and a few other old coins. I searched through other websites and found some pics close but not exact. any help would be greatly appreciated

Your button is the great seal button. It was introduced around 1905 and is still in use today. US Army.
