Military button, Any Help identifying?

I was detecting a neighbors house today, Nothing Real exciting.. but I did manage to Find a military button. I did add the “Uniform button of the United States“ book by Warren K rice to the arsenal, but I was quickly overwhelmed when trying to decipher what I actually have. I’m sure someone here will quickly identify it, so thanks in advance.

Your button is an Army "Great Seal" one. They were first introduced in 1901 and are still in use.The traces of a black finish would date it from 1910- 1923. But the backmark would date it no later than 1920.

Congrats on finding such a nice button. I think they are also called General Service buttons. Looks like you have a nice one.
