These copper or bronze military bottons were recovered at the long gone military base in San Juan. The newly constructed convention center is now representing for me the biggest error of our past governor, of having torn down a patrimony of the now condemn items of value now gone for ever in oblivion. What a shame and how sad. :'( >:( I hope you can help me tell me what value I tryed various times to photograf it but I always get the same blurry efect. It has an eagle in the front is raised.

Trying reading your camera's instruction book & look for the 'Macro' function.

Has the Eagle got a anchor under it or a sheild on the breast with a letter or no letter???

I spotted aditional information on the back of the botton witch I beleave says Waterbury conn. I don't know if this will help to get additional data.I had to look under a quite bright light sorce to see this insciption. Thanks so far for what you said it has an anchor and what seems to be some small cannon balls in a pile under the anchor.

Waterbury Conn (Connecticut) is an American city that had many button manufactures.
