I thought it would be good to show the new folks some of the items in our treasure hunters tool box. These are things I use. I hope you can add your items to help the newbie aquire treasure.
1. A good land detector 2. Excaliber 1000 underwater detector. 3. Top of the line Hookah unit. 4. Old maps and new charts. 5. OLD people and their stories. 6.OLD salty fishermen.
7. A friend who is a state licensed archeologist 8. A friend within the museum of natural history. 9. Expendable cash 10. A cooperative wife. 11.A hunting buddy who REALLY shares expences. 12. A well stocked first aid kit. 13. Medical insurance. 14. The art and balance of giving and getting reliable information. 15. Permission or a nod. 16. Everlasting optimism.
Now with all these tools and years of experience am I a successful treasure hunter?
If measured in cash value- NO!
If measured in adventure and living life- YES!
Of these tools which do I consider the most valuable? Number 5.
