hello tnet.

Made it out today after a couple of cold days here in EPT. Yes cold lol. Went out to a old spot and came out with Five wheats and what i thought was a plug. I cleaned it just to be sure( i know dont clean coins) but...i found a couple of stars on the upper left hand side and what looks to be an arm.its also the size of a nickel. it is so far gone but i think...think it may be a seated half dime. any thoughts. the pic is as close as i can get without it going blurry on me. thanks for the help.

Looks like a "V" nickel to me. The reverse should have a large V in the middle. A half dime would be smaller than a dime and silver.

What's the lrg one with the hole in the upper left corner?

It's a V. Seated would look way different and lady liberty fat head wouldn't be showing so well

Was that large circle with hole found anywhere near that key?

oh ok i didnt know that i have never found one and still havent. posted pics of the back i can barely see the wheat in back. wishful thinking. thanks.

Seems like every V nickel I find they are about as toast as yours is so don't feel bad. I guess anything that is that poorly made and been in the ground than long is bound to look like crap

Wonder if it is a key charm or was connected to a key ring?

Don't know but its gonna take some real care to clean. it broke again so i stopped. will finish later. thanks

Nice finds. I agree V nickle nice find either way. Thanks for sharing
