That thread clearly served zero purpose other than to inflame things. You took all of the most controversial CRH topics and threw them all into one thread and at the same time, pretty much insulted everybody who does those things. I may agree with you that painting coins to mark them is... not agreeable, but I respect that others have the right to do as they please, and I'm certainly not going to sit here and bash them for it. Everything comes full-circle, and they'll get theirs sooner or later.

Hey Boris, is this what yous was thinking? I was...... :laughing7:

Just curious, fell into this thread, figure I can't do too much harm here! 8-)

I completely disagree. This forum was the epitome of forums before the influx of new blood. To be specific, YOUNG new blood who feel that they have a God given right
to post whatever and whenever they want, most often the titles are "Does Anybody Do...." or the famous "I have an Idea" or even better yet "The Fed Is Culling Silver".
I wasted my time with posts in the beginning and suffered the consequences. All of the old crew are pretty much gone or just lurk, driven off by the all knowing teenagers.
I am not placing everybody Teenager on this forum in that category but 90% of them sure do fit. Sag98 should be a numismatis for a career, this teenager has it going on
and is very knowledgeable on pretty much everything related to a coin. He reads and then applies what he read to this forum just like all the old timers did. Sag98 is just
one of a few that actually contribute anything worthwhile to read. Treasure_Hunter has his hands full and unfortunately I feel into that trap of trying to get rid of the
proverbial "Fat". Treasure_Hunter, you have a tough job and I applaued your effort, it is commendable.

Thanks! I'm looking to be a meteorologist, however, I will keep my collection up on the side. You can ask me to ID any foreign coin you need to ID, and I will supply you with info (1700s or later).

The "teenagers" that contribute rubbish on to the forum are just causing most posting here to have been on this forum for only a year or less. These people generally remind me of the people at my middle school, which isn't a compliment. I don't see this as much anymore as I am in a magnet program.

Couldn't agree more, nicely stated.

Yes, because asking questions is just silly.

You stand on your porch and shake your fist a lot at people don't you?

And as hard as I look I can't seem to find anybody's age on their posts.
I know it's a lot easier to assume that everyone who has an opinion you disagree with is 15, but you should probably try to address the problems individually.
Vilification and assumption only makes you look bitter.
