Midwest Storms Are Over(?)

Yesterday I got some photos of the last storms moving through. I'm just glad we didn't get the hail some nearby towns got...cars had windshields, tail lights broken from the large hail. I uploaded them to WSBT TV Channel 22 news site this evening. At the 6:00 TV news they showed some hail photos people uploaded, from WSBT YouNews TV site.

I live in Northeast Kansas, and we've been battered by storms ....I've 'heard' there are more on the way too...sure makes it hard to get out hunting! Love your pics of the storms!!!

Tammy, glad you like them...I also captured the Nappanee Tornado last year developing...not much difference in how they looked, but the Nappanee one touched down with a 2 mile wide path. I could hear it from home, where I live. It took out the 3 trailer companies that built the trailers for hurricane Katrina people down in New Orleans. I used to watch all the trailers come by on the road in front during the day.

Earlier this year the people who decide what states are to be called "Tornado Alley" were contacting TV stations across Indiana, to see if we qualify to be placed in there.

Their storms have a way of reaching us...if I keep clicking the SW arrow on the weather radar for my area, it takes me right to Oklahoma City.
