I was thinking early bird gets the worm. I've had enough 0-dark thirty mornings in the military. So I decided to apply the night owl catches some too.
I went out tonight at low tide (1130) to see what I could find because I know the locals get out early morning.
There was no moonlight just a little light from the stars and a few buildings. It wasn't too bad except when it came time to check my scoop. That was a little challenging.
I found more tonight than I had during the day time. I'm not sure if it was the fact that no one was out on the beach that I had to maneuver around or the possibility of a fresh area that no one had detected for the day...
Here's what I found in 3 hours. Best to worst:
Split ring
Friendship bead
Belly button ring
6 quarters (1-1967)
3 dimes
4 nickels
9 pennys
12 bottle caps
13 1/2 pull tabs
Happy Hunting!
