Great find there. I think there is one like this buried in my back yard here in NC.

It always amuses me when I see archeologists handling things with cotton gloves that has been buried in a farm field for almost 1400 years. Like their fingers are going to ruin the gold. If all the manure, fertilizer, acid rain and plow blades haven't ruined it their fingers darn sure aren't. I even met with an archeologist that wore those dang gloves to handle a glazed piece of pottery.

And don't get me started on the boxes and boxes of artifacts that have been stashed away in some basement all over the country, never to be seen again.
