Middle Fork Cosumnes above E-16

Does anyone know the area I am talking about? Checked out this area off Grizzly Flat raod to Rocky Bar road and way down a dirt raod to the river. Someone told me that a stretch of it used to owned by I believe the Cosumnes mining co. Didn't see any markers and very remote, just some campers. I met a gentelman that is down there who showed me the area and is going to do some dredging this next week. I will be checking in on him from time to time. Very promising area except for the ones that like to shoot their guns. This area is aprox 20 mi. s.e. of Placerville.

Hey Joe....I did some testing up and down the river where rocky bar road crosses. This was about 20 years ago. Lot of gold and I can't remember why we didn't dredge there..Art
