Unfortunately, I don't see this token listed in the "Michigan Trade Token Book" anywhere jopher.

My guess is that it's a more common and more recent token for a local merchant in whatever area it's from.

I could be wrong but, I believe the "T.C." implies "Trade Currency" and not Traverse City.

The older more sought after tokens are usually copper or brass, have the merchants name, and or at least the business name/type of business, and usually the st. address & city and are usually more "ornate" in design, etc.

I'd guess it's age to be 30s/40s and value around $2 to $10

That's all I've got, hope it helps,

I believe it is a Masonic trade token from the Dramatic Order Knights of Khorasan, Chapter 155. I think that chapter is in Selma, CA.

Re: Kinda supprised no did more research on this item.

It was getting late last night and that was all I had time to figure out.

Charles, I believe that DOKK is a branch of the Knights of Pythias. As I read your research, I realized you're right in the fraternal connection. Did some fast footwork based on your research.

And for anyone wondering what some initials might mean on any tokens here's a fair list from A-Z.
