Mexican Silver? dish

I bought this dish today for $2. Seems like silver , looks like silver and is non magnetic. Has no markings. I don't want to ruin it by acid testing it. Weighs about 70gs. Anyone know anything about these?
Kinda looks like these. It's probably not silver.

EDIT: burned it, it's just plated. Oh well

You have to be careful with items you presume are silver from Mexico... A place infamous for fake silvers...

The telltale sign that it is nothing 'special' is the "Cancun Mexico" marking.

This is a tourist piece meant to be decorative.
