I was at the local auction this week, and got a few coins, and a couple i cant find out what they are made of. I didnt have time to look close at them before bidding, so just took a chance. One is a Mexican 5 peso 1959, and on the reverse side it says 18.56g and LEY .720. Does anyone know what this means? Rings like silver, but doubt it.
The other coin is a South African 5 shilling 1958, it also has the same ring to it.
Thanks!
