Before someone goes a-Googling for pictures and responds with "it sure looks like one"... the initial important unanswered questions are:

- Was that the surface appearance as found, or have you cleaned it?
- Is it attracted to a magnet and, if so, how strongly?
- How heavy is it in relation to a rock of similar size (or a density measurement by water displacement)?
- How hard is it (in terms of what it will scratch or what will scratch it)?
- Does it leave any kind of streak on the back of a porcelain tile and, if so, what colour or appearance?
