How can a magnet test a meteorite lots of rocks attract magnets I have a rock that i found and I have an earth magnet that can pick up 20 plus pounds. when I put to my rock i can pick it up my rock weigh about 1/2 pound its black it has feature but meteorite? there must be a better way to see if it is or possible without having to send it in for analysis any other idea ?
here a small magnet standing on my rock i threw little staple to it nothing sticks to but the magnet love it my detector barely pick it up but i have on coins its no wide open my pin pointer vibra probe see it as well

Thanks for the link Molewaker I tried to grind it down that didnt work with a mason grinding wheel there's these shinny looking stripes like nickel when I look at it with my jewellery eye thing
even if its not a meteorite this is cool
