I was wanting to know if anybody knows if this is a meteorite or not there are two Different pieces here

Does the gray part look like metal or another kind of rock ? Is it magnetic ? Does it feel heavy ? You list in your bio you have a whites spectra v3i , what does it say it is ? iron, nickle, nothing ?
There are three main types on meteors , stony , stone and metal and all metal. I don't see any indication of heat/melting that it would have sustained coming through the atmosphere. But maybe that's a fragment of a meteor than broke up after entering the atmosphere?
Its hard to tell from pictures . Take it to your local History Museum or maybe a University or Collage geology dept and ask.
If it isnt , its still a cool rock.

I think what you have is most likely iron slag

I agree with the other posters there are so many different kinds of rocks and finding a Meteorite is very rare. Get it looked at good luck I hope it is that would be great.

With the rust it has an iron content but I have to think Icewing is probably right about it being slag. Were any meteorites known to have been found in your area?Or were there factories where iron slag could have been? any iron workings in area you found such as an old blacksmith shop?

Iron scrap or iron slag. Nearly all iron meteorites have sufficient nickel to make the amount of rust you have very nearly impossible.

Time for more coffee.
