Meteor Right or Meteor Wrong

when i was out metal detecting today i picked this up with the magnet fitted in the end of my spade handle. what do you reckon, it sticks to the magnet really good.....Meteor Right or Meteor Wrong? it looks the part or have i just bean watching to much of the Meteor men.

IDK......magnet theory checks! Could be a piece of iron ore which I think could be magnetic! Did ya try to grind a little test section to see if it is shiny metallic on the inside?? Is the sample surface porous or smooth?? Did ya look for more, you could be in a strewn field! You just might have to send it away and have it checked out!! Congrats looking good!!
