First... we need to see photos of the back of buttons, after you've cleaned them. Look for a backmark (maker's-mark), which gives the name of the button-maker or supplier. We need that info because your button with the beaver is a Canada Militia button. The crown-above-a-beaver emblem (with the words "Canada Militia") was in use on brass Canada Militia buttons from 1850 to at least as late as World War One. I cannot be any more specific about your button's date-of-manufacture without knowing the backmark.

Your button with an eagle sitting atop a horizontal anchor can be either an actual US navy button or an imitation made for use on civilian-clothing. So again, we need to see its cleaned-up back, and also its front after cleaning.

Very cool recoveries!

I have no idea on the buttons but I did find a pair of wings EXACTLY like the ones you found.

The wings I found were at an early 1900's homesite (20-miles NW of Chicago) in the woods along with
assorted horse tack related items and adornments. I know this is not a definitive ID, but the other items
I found in the general area that same day might help in discovering it's specific use.

The wings are probably costume jewelry, possibly from a hair ornament. They are NOT aviation related.
