Metal tube with Cord; "Air Dri" open-ended hollow tube. Mounts on wall. Whaaa??

I'm scratching my head on this. Google's no help. What and Why?
Vintage. Metal "Air Dri" with cord. Open-ended hollow tube. Wall mount. All it does is heats up but it works.
Internal diameter approx 1.5 inches. It will hold may 1 or 2 small fingers.
Embossed on the back:
Air Dri International Inc
Plymouth Meeting Renna
Model #10
115V 25 Watt

Hand dryer I would assume. There are modern ones made using the Airdri name, but I can’t find one like this one?

The hole (notch) on the back cover suggests that it was meant to be hung on a wall (or whatever).

Update: Has that 60's / 70's trailer or camping vibe to it.

Maybe for drying wet farts!:icon_scratch::dontknow: Next time your stomach cooks one up, plug the device up and stick it to your pants but beware of possible flames.:laughing7:

This item only heats up. No fan. Really quite simple. Yep, I agree, I think it should be mounted on the wall. I guess they didn't sell well and obsolete.
