Found this in the creek. It has black paint remnants on it. Anybody recognize it from their long lost childhoods?? IMG_1057.JPGIMG_1053.JPGIMG_1054.JPG

Based on the style I'm thinking it's a 'Stetson', so it may have come from a 1930s cowboy. :dontknow:

Cool Find!
I'd have to guess from the size of the hat the figure, if there was one, would be about 6 to 8 inches
tall. I don't remember anything like that from the fifties. Perhaps a game piece? It's been enameled
black and you folks know, only the bad guys wore black hats or that's we always said!

My reason for saying it looks to be from the 30s, it reminds me of the Stetson Tom Mix used to wear.

"One of the biggest stars in Hollywood at the height of his silent movie career, Tom Mix spent money as fast as he earned it. By the time the stock market crashed in 1929, however, his movie career was nearly over. Mix lost millions in the crash, but used his name and showmanship to begin a new career in radio. The Tom Mix radio show, which debuted on September 25, 1933, ran for twenty years."
