Apologies if posted in the wrong section, Admin could you please relocate if required - Thanks.
I already recycle material from jewellers, 3 years now, but I am interested in starting to reclaim metals from scrap. Trouble is, after reading posts about various 'how to' guides I have been rather put off buying any of them due to them being slated.? ?
Has anybody out there got the time to have an email conversation with me to answer some of my most important questions??
Basically;
What to hunt for
What do I reclaim off it
How to get if free/cheap
What metal/s does it yeild
Best method of reclaimation (I currently use a refiner where I live in Birmingham UK)
Approx cost/oz (yield)
Weight to volume (Approx) say 1Troy
Is there an easy way to reclaim from dentists/labs
If anybody can help with this I appreciate it as there is little or no information available apart from the usual 486 computer stuff which really doesn't go into details. Just tells you that for computers the older the better. Still doesn't tell you what to strip and how to strip it.
Anyway, if you can help, either post here or PM me (let me know in this post though).
Many thanks,
Darren
