Hi button lovers,

This button was found in a field in New England in a 1700-modern area. It has a plain front. It is not exactly flat, but mostly flat and then curves down towards the back.
The back has an intact connected shank. It has a bit of a laurel design coming out of what looks like a 6 point star.
I can’t discern any text. The button is quite thin. I am not sure what kind of metal it is but no part of it is attracted to a magnet. It is 19.9mm wide. I can’t find any exactly the same on the internet.

Thanks for looking and I welcome any comments or insight!
