✅ SOLVED Metal piece colonial?

I found this on a farm that has been owned by a friend of mine family since 1866 apparently there was a rev war era colonial house in a back field of the farm no longer there but finding lots of pottery pieces tons of buttons other stuff old square nails buckles I found this and it has a bolt or screw with a metal nut can anyone figure out what it may have been n time period I was thinking maybe hardware to a piece of furniture but as I look it could be lots of different things any help is appreciated if u need more photos let me know thanks
