Hi there, my names Stephen
I,ve just joined this site so go easy on me, I found these items whilst fishing at loch awe in Scotland, the metal nugget weighs about 3 ounce and I was wondering if anybody knew what type of metal it is, it has some sort of pattern on its underside, the other item I think looks a bit like an arrow head but could just be a bit of hardcore or something, any help would be much appreciated.
Also see when you do your profile and choose a flag is there any scottish flags?.
Thanks

Hello Stephen, Welcome to the forum! Your first items appears to be lead solder. The pattern on the back may have happened when it dropped on the ground/grass as a hot liquid, then hardened.

Someone had a bonfire on the beach/bank/shore and tossed their beer cans in it. That's what the first picture is. The other thing is a rock that happened to fracture in that shape.
