Dear colleagues,
I am from Austria (Europe) and I own a White's Eagle Spectrum. I would like to use it to detect metal items in round logs in a sawmill.
I would be grateful for any advice/information from users who already did this job !
Are there any useful changes of various parameters ?
Thank you for your support and best regards. Wenzel.

Simple, use NO discrimination or the lowest setting. If there is metal there it will find it, of course that depends on the diameter of the log also. Make sure that the log is not setting on a metal object as well or you might detect the metal object thinking something is in the log. I drove through Austria once on my way to Italy about 3 years ago. Wonderful views from the autobahn and I loved seeing all of the villiages dotting the sides of mountains.

Dear Farmercal,
Many thanks for your kind and useful reply ! I also appreciate your nice memory of my country.
Have a nice weekend. Wenzel.
