I found this interesting convex metal disc that's shaped like a flower, possibly made of brass or copper, while metal detecting on a beach near a Coast Guard Station on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. It is 5/8" in diameter, and 1/4" in height. I would say it's some kind of jewelry, except there's no hole, clasp, or anything visible that would allow it to attach to something else.
