Metal Detector Find near Nurnberg Germany

I found this bronze button? In 1992 outside Nurnberg in a plowed field where I found coins dating from Roman times to WWII items. Reverse has remnants of wood or leather in lip. Any European collectors here recognize this item?

I was with the 2nd ACR in Nurnberg. Found the bronze button thingy outside there close to Zirndorf.
