When: Sunday, October 14th
Meet: American Prospector Treasure Seeker Store Parking Lot
We'll leave the store parking lot at 8am, the destination is approximately
15 miles from the store.

**There are no restrooms available at this location** Also, there are some brushy areas,
you may want to wear snake guardz if you have them. Additionally, this outing "park style"
detecting, sand scoops are not needed. Bring your own detector and tools, food and drinks
for the day.

The secret spot ended up being a one room school house that was built in 1927. The school house is no longer used for day to day lessons but they do hold a lot of field trip there to teach the young ones about the history of the area and about gold prospecting...If I remember right there was something like 120 acres there for us to hunt on. We were giving special permission to hunt this land as a one day event... Cant wait to see what area Susan can come up with next for all us...

Metal Detecting Outing - Oceanside Harbor
Sunday, October 21st
We will be headed out for a day of beach detecting at the Oceanside Harbor. All ages and
experience levels are welcome to join. We'll meet at the south jetty at 8am.
There is a free parking area as well as paid parking. Bring your own detector and tools,
food and drinks for the day.
