Well, after a long week of going back and forth with a local museum curator, I have gotten him to agree to a "Metal Detecting Finds of Northeastern North Carolina" exibit! There is one draw back and that is that he has to pass it through some archie group in Raleigh, and they are very notorious for shooting down all things not giving them credit... But I also just helped him (curator) out of a pickle so maybe things will work in the hometeam's favor!
It will be in a "rotating" exibit, meaning it will only be up for a few months, but it will be during the "Queen Annes Revenge" exibit, so there will be alot of traffic.
Its an extremely long story how this all came about, but needless to say its going to be great, and hopefully garner a little P O S I T I V E light for the detecting community... And hopefully get me into some places I have not been able to get into!
