Metal detecting hunts/shows

Anyone know where or if there is a way of finding out where they have metal detecting hunts and shows. Like the Culpeper,VA hunt and others? I need to get an idea of how many shows and where they are now that my metal detecting tools are taking off, need to get out and start showing the items off. I'd appreciate the help.

The day & age of shows, clubs, & conventions has waaayyy declined. Very few of any of them anymore. And clubs (for instance) exist only in very big cities nowadays. Reason is: lack of attendees and participation in all-of-the-above. And the reason for THAT is: the day & age of the internet.

In the old days (before the late '90s early '00s) you had to go to such events to see the latest technology, meet others, see who's-finding-what, pros & con's of certain offerings, etc.... But not so anymore. All those things are now done from the comfort of your easy-chair at home, in front of your 'puter. Hence the day & age of shows, conventions, and clubs greatly wained.

Maybe you could search the Internet for clubs and detector sellers and e-mail your question to them.
Also post the question in the -by location forum on T Net, it lists all the states.
