Hello, :hello:

I got some more cool metal detecting/treasure gifts this year. :headbang: The first one is a container of Sterling Silver Shot. My aunt gave me that and a bag that say's 925. :icon_thumleft: The container is about the size of a D battery and weighs 99.2 grams with the silver. The container alone weighs 7 grams. So its 92 grams of pure sterling silver !! Woohoo !! :notworthy: My dear old mom got me the Acid Test Kit, I've been trying to get one for years.. Now I have it !! Last is a LED head lamp for detecting at night from my brother. Totally needed that too !! So that's what I found under our tree... Here are some photo's I hope you enjoy.. If you need something tested just send it over.. :laughing7:

Keep @ it and HH !! :hello2:

sterling shot (?)...you have a werewolf problem in your area?

haha Yeah, its often used in making Jewelry... Has other uses too, like its good to use for bartering. They weigh about 2 tenths of a gram each more or less. They are different sizes.. If sterling is worth $0.58 a gram then they are worth around 11 cents ea. So you can trade them for just about anything. I just like to look at it mostly...

Keep @ it and HH !! :laughing7:

Now, THAT's what I was talking about! These are all gifts that anyone with an understanding of the hobby we cherish, should be thinking about. Even a spare digger, pouch, batteries, etc. What I get? 2 ties and a pkg of underwear. LOL

Seems I just don't have any creative people in my family. :(

Thanks for sharing!

Lol,

Don't feel bad... I had to ask for the Acid Test Kit for "years" before I got it. The headlamp was a gift to my brother but he gifted it to me cause he had no use for it... The Silver shot was actually a birthday gift but I did not get to open it till X-mas because it was at my mothers house and had a separate X-mas with my dads family at their house... There I got nothing I wanted, haha I feel like a kid again... :laughing7:

Keep @ it and HH !! :hello2:
