Decided to dry sand hunt a popular beach on the west side of Florida in cold and dreary conditions. As typical this time of year and climate, to my advantage few souls were on the 2 mile beach. I usually hunt in the surf, but I was in there for 4 hrs the other day and got a little hypothermia and nothing much else. The next day after that hunt my head was killing me ā a sign of hypothermia from the day before. Water just didnāt look inviting, today.
It was an hour into my 4 hr beach hunt with my Equinox 800 with 15ā coil, when I came across a vape pen, tip and battery. Said āHybridā on the side and āTrulieveā running along the tip. Looked it up on Google and it is a medical thc tip, 78% pure. Someone said that āIt worked AND it worked!ā But Iām not sure whoā¦
How do I get back to my car?
After meandering the high tide line for about an hour, I next came across an unused (thankfully) pair of āMagnumā condoms in foil-type packaging. I think theyāre an extra large size so they might fit and so I asked my wife about trying them out - Now this is where the death part comes inā¦.
I was just joking!
Just before I finished my hunt I came across a cremation tag from the āLakelandā crematory. In my 5 month hunting season along the west coast of Florida I come across 5 ā 6 cremation tags a year. Earlier this year I even wrote a short review about cremation tags on TreasureNet.com. Iāve seen tags from Lakeland before. Someday, possibly sooner then I expect, a metal detectorist is going to find a tag with my number on it! By the way, I throw them back in after documenting them. Hint hint.
Metal detecting, drugs, sex and death; well, maybe not the sex part but an interesting hunt nevertheless. Hopefully, death, will not soon follow...now what did I do with that vape pen
Happy Hunting
Honey, I hate to see them go to waste!
$#%**&@&#+ Over my dead body!
And I wouldnāt put it past you!
