Is there a place on the internet where I can find a consent to metal detect in somebody's private yard

? Not that I know of. But plenty of permission forms have been made if you want to knock on doors. Best way to get access is through friends of friends. Good luck.

The best consent form to search a yard is an agreement signed with a hand shake. Asking for a written one is a sure NO.

If you google metal detecting permission forms, you will find several different templates that you can use. These range from permissions, liability waivers, consent, introductions to private owners, etc... you should be able to find specifically what you are looking for. Also, some of the templates can be edited to meet your hunting needs...good luck!

Stay FAR FAR away from "permission forms"! The only thing they will do is turn off a land owner. Put yourself in their shoes. Someone shows up at your door asking to detect and starts pulling out legal paperwork for you to sign. That's the fastest route to a rejection!
