Metal Detecting a 1890s homesite CRAWLSPACE

Great vid. If anyone needed proof that this hobby makes people do crazy things, this is it. You're giving me some ideas though. Lots of 17th c homes around begging to have their bowels inspected!

I wouldn't fit through the opening so no way I would be in that claustrophobic , spider infested crawl space.

i love the part where you spit the lougie on the coin and wipe it, wasnt expecting that
great vid thanks for sharing

Neat finds!!! Great Video!!!

I did this on my 1850's school house, :icon_scratch: I did not have so much luck ! :dontknow: Cool video, you guys were fortunate on this one !! Its a barber quarter and a V nickle btw and that nickel is in great shape compared to how they usually come out of the ground. 8-)

Keep @ it and HH !! :hello2:

Wow, I wouldn't have thought to try a crawl space... nice finds and thanks for the idea!

You guys definitely took it to the next level!

Nice video! You just inspired me to detect the crawl space under my own home. It was built in the early 1940's so the finds wont be stellar, but it sounds fun. I've been under there a few times over the years and it was miserable ... (because I was fixing broken plumbing). I especially hated sharing the space with black widows and hoping they wouldn't come over and sting me.

Anyways... I'm gonna wait till the dead winter when all the black widows are dead and go get me some roundness!
