Metal Detecting 2 weeks, Why does it rain and snow?

I'm from Pittsfield, PA and have been metal detecting for 2 weeks now. I just bought a Minelab E-trac and am impressed. I have found an 1880 indian head, 5 wheats (1910,1914,1919,1935,1940), and some clad. It's almost April and we just got a few inches of snow last night. I'm looking forward to some good searching days!
