I found the following button shown along with the official Dime-O-Sizer. (By the way I don't know how the dime got a hole in it or why.) The button is small as you can see. It looks black but under the patina is actually gold colored.
When tested with 10k acid, fades, leaving only a small amount of milky residue. (possibility of gold filled??) You can see the more of the actualcolor and shine in the picture of the back of the button if you look in the hole where the button is busted off.
Any ideas on age or other details greatly appreciated. I suppose it is junk, but would like to get the thoughts of other's. Thanks for any ideas.
