Preheat oven 350
1 cup powder sugar
1 cup softened butter
3 tsp maraschino cherry juice
1/2 tsp almond extract
Mix together
Then add 3 cups flour
10 oz jar of diced up maraschinos
and remix
Roll into 1 inch balls (butter your hands and this will be easier)
Bake 8-9 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet
Remove from oven and put chocolate star or hershey kiss in center and gently press down.
These are very soft cookies and will stay fresh if put in containers.
