Hey all, found this out in the woods and was curious what it was. It's quadruple plated and has some kind of fish looking thing on it. I heard it may be a part of a brandy warmer but not sure.

Cool Find, It looks like the top to a pot of some kind.
If this info is right? It could be very old.

(The Meriden Silver Plate Co. was founded in 1869 in Meriden, Connecticut by Charles Casper. They were one of the original companies that joined together to form the International Silver Co. in 1898. These are several of the known marks. )

Can't help ya out with an Id but it is a very nice find for sure.Man ya been digging up all kinds of goodies out of them woods.Good show....................................
 

Thanks for looking. Whatever it is it sure was nice to dig rather than the thousands of rusty can lids I get in those woods.
