Mercury Dime

Picked up one 90% and five 40% half dollars on a quick stop at a couple of banks. Thought I would try a few rolls of quarters and dimes. Nothing in quarters but found a 1945 merc. Only one though.

Cool on the '45 Merc....and the day before yesterday...one of my cashiers (he knows I TILL SEARCH!)...called me over...he had just opened a new roll of dimes and had to rub in my face the 1944 MERC that rolled out of it!

I offered him 20 cents, then raised it to a $1.00...but he said NOPE, I'LL KEEP THIS ONE, JUST WANTED TO SHOW YOU!

Oh well.. ....it was in one of those clear plastic wraps we get from BRINKS....

But that's ok...got a 1944 D War Nickel last night...
