Hi all,

I haven't posted in quite a while, mainly because I haven't had any finds to post. :-\ Anyhoo, I got permission to hunt an abandoned house a couple of weeks ago. Scouted it out this morning and went back this afternoon. It appears to be early 1900's. Got a 1944 Mercury dime, 1944 Wheat penny, a military button (WW II era I'm guessing) and a rusted pocket knife. Didn't cover much ground so I'll be back. :)

Happy New Year!

nice finds - love the button~

Forgot to say that the backmark on the button says "City Button Works, New York". Info from Google says post 1907 so WWI or II era.

Thanks Nana! Haven't been back yet, this weekend's been busy. Tomorrow (Sunday) is looking like rain so it might be next weekend (heavy sigh). :(
