Went back down to the farm dump yesterday, started pulling out more buttons, pins, a couple more military items and older toys when out popped the rose earring! I knew it was sterling because it was the match to the one I found the first day there. A few more buttons and beads and out comes the cuff link. At least I think thats what it is. Didn't know it was 14k gold 'till I got home and cleaned it up. The stones look like moonstone. I'll have to see if the other half of the pair is there somewhere. All the goodies I've been finding in the dump though, makes me wonder what happened all those years ago to make someone throw out all the good stuff.
