I recently bought a cob that came with a certification with both Mel Fisher and Kip Wagner's signatures and a date of 1965. Does anyone know if that makes it worth more money? I don't plan on selling it, but i was pleasantly surprised to see both their signatures

I'd have to say that the certificate is probably pretty rare. The honeymoon did not last too long.

It is probably worth more than the cob. Since it is not a picture cert someone could associate it with a higher grade coin, probably substantially increasing its value. I have a Wagner signed cert from Real Eight. I'll post a pic the next time I open Fort Knox.

Yup, in 1968 Mel moved to the upper Keys to work Art McKee's 1733 fleet sites for a short while before going after the Atocha.

Has anyone ever seen this cert with these two signatures before?

Yes, I have seen a couple. They aren't unique, but fairly rare.
