Yesterday I got back at the same area where I have been searching lately. The result was: an ancient tombstone, a lot of coins, some bronze stuff and a strong headache. I got 2 adviles but nothing happened :). The weather was nice but suddenly a strong cold wind came from the north.
The tombstone was the first find as I was climbing the hill. Than a bronze fibula, probably Roman. Using Crusader Settings I was able to find a lot of spoon shape byzantine coins, on an area where I thought I had already cleaned everything. I dag a lot of nails too.
The tiny silver coins are probably from Venice or Hungary. No ID yet.
It was not the first time to find hair clips but these have great details.

I said that it's a byzantine tombstone but it can also be 1000 years older than that.

It looks like something is written on it!

They need some cleaning but I will not touch anything until I'm sure what I'm doing.
Thanks guys for watching. I think I'm going to rest for a while. :occasion14:

Vince...you certainly are getting good at blowing my mind...I have no idea about the age or origin of these artifacts, but for me, digging a 150-200 year old relic or coin blows me away. I couldn't imagine pulling items such as yours, my head would pop. Congrats-great stuff! Ddf

Thanks buddy. The coins with Zeus are from 4th to 1st BC. The byzantine are different but most of them from 8th to 11th AD, and the bronze artifacts probably too.

:laughing9: That's a huge area. Probably it will take a few years to clean it!

Great finds! :notworthy:

Tombstone is very cool

Looks like another great day.:hello2:

A few nails cleared is never a bad thing. I know I've cleared my fair share.

I dag a few buzzy signals. Some of them were spoon shape coins, so for the first time I dag every signal. Byzantine nails are sold on EBay :laughing9:
