Medallion?

Whites M6, Whites Pulse Diver, ETRAC.
It seems copper or brass. I found it at a War of 1812 military training area. It has two small metal peaces on the edge, which may be where a chain could have mounted. This may have been a medallion that hanged off a chain to be warn around the neck. Seems like there is some type of image on one side. Any guesses? :dontknow:

this is a guess but looks like some kind of presidential token that had a loop soldered on to be a watch fob.

scratch the presidential token part :tongue3: I just realized that what I thought was a left facing bust of a president in the first pic was just my eyes playin tricks :D

It may be this type of watch fob.

Interesting, as it dried a more distinctive image is appearing. Looks like a roman with helmet or GI. :-\

never seen that image, but whatever it may be, a very neat piece

Both the pics came from a 1909 Sears Roebuck catalog. In 1909 the latest craze for watch fobs and plated coin like jewelry was Roman, Greek and Egyptian motiffs. Were there TOC finds in this area?
