Hey folks and HH to all! I found this where 5 1/2 reals and 2 1 real coins have poped out. The spot dates back as early as the 1500’s! Many cool relics and misc items have been found also even indian pottery. What could it be? The large one has something to do with the game of Cricket, it has the crossed Cricket bats, and the wicket behind a Cricket ball.... more than that I don't know, maybe one of our English members might recognize it?

The other one I have no idea

Edit.... The larger one could be the center of a tongue and wreath style buckle, and probably late 1800's I found a cricket themed buckle online, it's not the same as yours, but I'd bet that's what you have. I did find a match to yours that was found in England and is also broken like the one you have

The thing on the right looks like it depicts some piece of machinery. Those are interesting relics.

I was going to suggest that they look like parts to a kid's toy that was lost at the beach. :laughing7:

But I now like NOLA Ken's suggestion better.

Cool finds TCD!

Stellar job Ken! Nice representation!

The other looks like a cross between the star ship enterprise and a picnic basket, LOL! Actually it looks
like a water pump or a hit and miss engine of some type. See the counterweight at the bottom of the
flywheel? That would suggest an appliance that utilized a Piston/Crankshaft design. Not sure what the
cover piece is but probably disfigured.

Best wishes!

I've seen print blocks for advertising farm items like this. The folded over piece could be part of the thin background material.
Does it seem heavy? Perhaps someone took an old print plate and cut into a watch fob?
