Hey folks,

I recently got permission to hunt a house that's roughly 100 yrs. old. I went yesterday for an hour or two and found some clad and what I think is a medal but I need help with an ID. On the top half something that looks like spears are crossed on each side. On the lower half the letters FBC make up a triangle but I can't make out what's in the middle of them. I wondered if it's some type of religious medal like a sunday school medal. We have a First Baptist Church (FBC) in town. The white stuff on it is flour - I was trying to get the features to stand out. If I ever hook up my scanner maybe I will get a better pic of it.

Thanks for looking,

Kent

Stoney - Thanks! You're fast!

Jake - The back seems slick although it still has a little crud on it. I'm wondering if something was tied tightly around the top under the wing-like protrusions.

Really great find Kent!!!

;)

Kent,
Stoney hit it on the head. I found a hat pin of some sort in Colorado a few months ago with the same logo.
Ive had this picture sitting on my desktop since then waiting for you to post your pin.

Good Luck and HH

Is that sugar or salt on it........

Actually flour. It's the first thing I thought of to use that would make the letters stand out. Now if I had some bacon grease and milk I could make a good Knights of Pythias gravy. ;D
