Meager finds with my new friend Civil War 22

So Dalton is on vacation here in my neck of the woods, we met this morning, and hunted several raggedy places for several hours. He his a great guy, with a passion for civil war swag. None of that down here, so we tried like hell to find some silver....no luck today. We did squeek out a few wheats and relics, but the real thrill was getting to know each other, and trade our treasure hunting stories. I think the excitement for him was using my rinse kit!

Like I said, pretty weak finds, the old mirror and iodine bottle were the winners.

So Dalton, I found the token you found....shame that your token was trashed, you ought to rebury it, let it rest in peace!
Actually, a very cool token, this is what it looks like..made in 1934.

Yea it was definitely fun getting to know one another. I may just re-bury it. Sad piece of aluminium. Well mu friend I've gotta get off here and get busy

BigWaveDave I realized what I did wrong today when we went hunting. I didn't read the manual seriously though all that noise I was hearing I totally forgot to hit noise cancellation. I've been sitting and reading and doing some testing and I really honestly believe that there is a good chance I past up some silver.

Well it wasn't a total loss...that key you found at Gary's place, I have walked over that literally a hundred times. Glad you found it. Did you clean it up?...it had some detail on it, I suspect it's an old lawn mower key, but it could be an old car....
