ME Mug and 6oz. gold I won

You ask how do you win 6ozt. of gold. Well last summer as a fundraiser for legal battles to fight for our rights to dig and enjoy the outdoors Waldo Mining District held a fund raiser. How many pieces of gold make up said 6ozt. Guesses were bought at $5 each or 6 for $25. I believe the counting was set for Sept 29, 7 people counted 7 different piles 7 times I think LOL. Anyways I had the closest guess being 5 off. Needless to say it made my whole season. Here's a pic of 6 ozt in a gold pan.

Right now I am trying my luck at some urban prospecting, looking for some silver halves. Ordered my first box on Friday, will be in Tuesday and I can't wait. BTW is it Tuesday yet LOL. Really enjoying the CRH forum. Mark

I don't know how I missed this one- Waldo is a great group of miners in Southern Oregon and they always have a good raffle every year. I think last years was an ATV.
