Well, I just got back from covering Turtle,Sea Grape, Ambersand, Gloden Sands to Chuck's (no longer there) Steakhouse. Sorry to report, there is way too much sand.
Ophelia just didn't get the job done down there. I'm going to wait for a good winter Nor'easter or another hurricane before I bother again. Over the past 12 years I've seen the kind of cuts it takes in the beach and dunes to have a successful outing. This is just not the case right now. So, if you have a long drive to get to Wabasso, save your gas
until the next big storm!
